As a church committed to praying for one another, we post this daily reminder we can all use for that purpose. It contains links to a Bible reading that if followed daily will have taken you through the entire Bible by this time next year, devotional thoughts from Our Daily Bread, and the passage upon which those thoughts are based, with a prayer inspired by that passage. Devotional Passage: Jeremiah 31:3-9
Prayer: We thank You, God, for loving us with an everlasting love; for drawing us to Yourself with Your unfailing kindness that leads to repentance. We pray in the Name of Your Beloved Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, that to the praise of His glory You will, like You promised Israel, lead us beside streams of water on level paths where we will not stumble because You are our Heavenly Father. Please so revive the Church, Your Kingdom that is foremost among all the nations, that we cannot help but sing and dance with tears of joy for all that You have done, are doing, and promise to do for, in, and through us as Your children. As those who are ruled by Your Spirit, may our demeanor attract others to You as their Redeemer when we invite them to trust in Him Who died and rose from death to finally, fully, perfectly, and permanently accomplish our salvation – and theirs! Amen.
